A new Horizon Europe project is joining the effort to scale up biomethane in Europe!
BIOMAPE (Biomethane Market Acceleration and Uptake in Europe), coordinated by ISINNOVA, has officially launched with the ambition of accelerating biomethane production and use across Europe. By addressing policy, market, technical and social aspects, the project will help create the conditions for a stronger and more integrated biomethane sector.
Launched in Dublin last December, BIOMAPE brings together partners from across Europe and will, over the next three years, support biomethane registries in five countries, promote cross-border trade and engage stakeholders in eight countries through dedicated outreach and knowledge-sharing activities.
At BIOMETHAVERSE, we are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with the BIOMAPE team to maximise synergies in research, innovation and market development for biomethane at European level.
